My name is Ingrida and I am from Lithuania. I participated in program Erasmus+, which took place in Denmark, Copenhagen. The project was called ‘You are not alone’ and the main idea was talking about loneliness and dealing with problems about it. We were doing workshops through art: music, sculpture, painting, collage and theatre. It was very extraordinary and interesting; in my opinion it put us (participants) all together much closer. 7 countries participated in this project and it was amazing to know something new about every nation. We learned national dances, songs, tasted some food for the first time. It was very useful and interesting to meet other cultures and try to understand them, compare it with my country. Team-building games and energizers are at the opposite part of the loneliness, so in this project we did a lot of them and it was really funny. Also, all of us had our secret friends – who made us feel good, surprised and took care of us without taking the credits for all of that. Secret friend ensured that we were not alone in this project. All in all, it was one of the best experiences that I’ve ever had. Youth exchange is a good possibility and in my opinion, as many students as possible should do it. Erasmus+ is not only about education, but also about culture, languages and meeting other people.
