I don‘t even know from what I have to start to talk about this project. Firstly it was a great opportunity to see Poland in a different way like not a tourist, but be a part of Poland. This project was my first, but all I can say that it is also not the last. So before I start I want to thank VsI Inovacijų biuras (Innovation Office) for this opportunity to travel to Poland, that I was involved in this Planet 1st. Vol. 2 project in Poronin, near Zakopane.
Firstly, in this project were involved 6 different countries: Poland, Lithuania, Romania, Italy, Bulgaria and Croatia. There were 36 people with different thoughts, different view of the world and different ideas about how we need to help our Planet be cleaner and what we need to do to save our environment. Every day we had activities about environment. For example: games, discussions, introduce yourself, interviews, team building skills and all the others crazy stuff, we learned something new about our Planets‘enviroment and also about us. My favorite activity was a city game. In this game all people were divided into a 6 different groups and all the group members were from different countries. By the way this all game wasn`t about environment, but it was about how good we can work in the teams and it was a good way to learn about how we can understand each other or learn from each other.
Secondly, the best part in this project was intercultural evenings! It was amazing to understand different cultures and have your own point of view after all presentations about countries. For me it was a great opportunity to see the different cultures and lifestyles close. This allows me to step out of my box about the cultures. Also it gave me another point of view to see a completely different world understanding that they might show us about how different life can be and how different cultures value different things that might have a big impact in humans‘ life. Talking about presentation, we presented our country in the first intercultural evening and it was awesome. Our food was great and everyone loved it for how we supplied it. I remember funny thing from our presentation. It was when we passed through our glasses with our country’s traditional mineral water ‚‚Vytautas‘‘and everyone was wondering about what is in these glasses. It was so funny when they tasted it, peoples‘ mimics were so different. Some of them liked it a lot, but most of people just spit out water back into the glasses. But despite this not very polite behavior, I love them all! ☺
As you can see this project was amazing opportunity to know better different people from different countries, to understand environmental problems in these countries, to learn in which way we can help our Planet be cleaner, because we all live here and we have to share this news about our Planets’ health!
For one more time I want to thank you for this great, funny, amazing adventure with all these people from different countries. I`ve learned a lot from this projects’ beginning until the end.
