On May 8, 2025, young participants gathered at the Innovation Office for the third mentoring session of the Erasmus+ project DigiFast, a hands-on and inspiring experience focused on digital content creation. This session wasn’t just about learning – it was about doing, experimenting, and co-creating in a supportive and engaging environment.
From Ideas to Action: Exploring Digital Tools
The event opened with a short introduction to the DigiFast platform and project goals, highlighting how young people are being empowered to use digital tools for creative expression and professional growth.
But rather than sticking to theory, this session focused on practical application. Participants worked directly with a range of digital content creation tools, gaining hands-on experience and immediate feedback.
The spotlight was on video content – how to create engaging, high-quality videos with a strong structure and a clear message. The main tool used for this purpose was Lumen5, a free user-friendly platform for turning text into compelling videos.
In addition to Lumen5, the session introduced and explored:
- CapCut – for mobile video editing with effects and audio.
- Canva – for creating visual elements like thumbnails and posters.
- TikTok – to understand short-form video trends and storytelling techniques.
- ChatGPT & Gemini – for generating creative scripts, ideas, and content drafts.
- Other platforms to enhance and support digital content planning and production.

Creating and Sharing: Portfolios and Peer Review
Participants were encouraged to use what they learned by creating their own digital portfolios on the DigiFast platform, showcasing the content they had developed during the session. These portfolios serve not only as a space for self-expression but also as a practical tool for presenting their skills and learning outcomes.

The session concluded with a collaborative review, where everyone shared their final creations and received feedback from peers and mentors. This group reflection encouraged discussion, idea exchange, and mutual support – key elements in fostering digital confidence and creativity.
A Community of Young Creators
What truly stood out was the participants’ curiosity, creativity, and enthusiasm. From beginners testing new tools to more experienced creators refining their content, every attendee contributed to a vibrant atmosphere of shared learning.
This mentoring session once again proved that with the right guidance and tools, young people can become confident digital creators – ready to tell their stories, share their knowledge, and shape the digital world around them.
