On May 05-11 group of young people from Lithuania, Italy and Albania went to the small mountain village Serra San Quirico (Italy) for Erasmus+ project (youth exchange) ”OFFICINA EUROPA”. Professional theatre educators taught us the ability to listen each other, to create dialogue and to be creative. This project involved young Europeans in fostering mutual understanding, integration and solidarity among young people coming from different countries.
I also was in this project and there are 3 the most important things, which I have learnt:
Firstly, active, creative and communicative people came to develop their language skills, also share their traditions. It was interesting for me to know more about their culture and to expand my knowledge about their customs and traditions.
Another important thing that I have learnt is to respect different country people. I realised that foreign people are really interesting. We shared our own experiences with each other.
Finally, I have learnt that the drama language is the most suitable language able to support young people in exchanging their different views and finding common positions. Moreover, I learnt how to take a decision which will be acceptable to everyone, how to maintain eye contact. We made a lot of exercises, which help us to be concentrated. In the end of the project, we created our final drama performance.
So, this project was very useful for me, I learned new things and I met a lot of interesting and kind people.
